The premier men’s softball event in the world will be held from 19-27 February at ELE Rosedale Park in Auckland, New Zealand, with the top players from the best 12 teams in the world competing For the Title of World Champion.

The two events were postponed at the beginning of April until further notice. The decision follows WBSC's postponement of the 2021 Women's Softball World Cup to 2023.

The WBSC and Softball New Zealand are working jointly to confirm new dates for the event.

The new emblem is being rolled out for the inaugural WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup in 2021.
