The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) today unveiled the logo for the inaugural WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup, which will be launched in 2021, in Auckland, New Zealand.

Following the rolling out of new brand identities for the U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup and the U-18 Men’s Softball World Cup, the latest WBSC-logo will become the permanent identity of the WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup.

"This new emblem marks another step in the rebranding process of the softball world championships into Softball World Cups across all men's and women’s platforms and age-groups, and is part of a unified look and feel," said WBSC Softball Division Chairman Tommy Velazquez.

The emblem features an upper-body silhouette of a hitter, following a dynamic swing. The curves in the figure represent the evolution and global expansion of the sport. The iconic blue helmet is the most recognizable element of the logo, while the golden arch symbolises the honour of playing for one’s country in the highest-level softball competition in the world.
